Plade Ltd made the Finals of the Trade Partners UK's prestigious Export Award for Business 2000 In London
The nomination is the latest in a long line of awards and commendations for the Gladstone Avenue based company.
Plade is one of just three firms in Scotland to reach the final of the awards which reward and encourage outstanding export achievements within the past year.
Organisers want the shortlist firms to combine high quality products with sound business advice.
And Plade, which specialises in the design and manufacture of capital equipment for the semiconductor industry, certainly fits the bill. The firm's annual export figures have increased by 614 per cent in the past three years.
Operating in a highly specialised market, Plade products tend to be high value customised one offs.
The Barrhead company has a strong competitive edge over its American, European and Japanese competitors.
